Beyond Baby Fat is a multimedia project that addresses childhood obesity in African-Americans and the lack of healthy food access in North Philadelphia. This project examines the childhood obesity epidemic from several overlooked angles including: the race disparity; an overlooked link to obesity in neighborhood corner stores; and the role traditionally Black churches play to promote healthy living.
The entire project will debut on Philly.com August 2010.
